SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA / ACCESS Newswire / October 19, 2026 / Americas Cardroom's Dual Venom PKOs generated $6,862,500 in total prize pools following the conclusion of their final starting flights yesterday. Both tournaments exceeded their guarantees, finishing a combined $362,500 above the advertised $6.5 million.
The $5 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em tournament received 2,143 entries and produced a $5,357,500 prize pool. The $1.5 million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha event drew 602 entries, resulting in $1,505,000. Each tournament has a $2,650 buy-in.
ACR Pros Chance Kornuth and Chris Moneymaker will return in the top four of the PLO chip standings. Kornuth leads under the screen name LawyerDad68 with 9,172,216 chips, while Moneymaker ranks fourth with 7,062,845.
Haftbefehl holds the second-largest PLO stack with 8,457,419, and NewYorkMidgets is third with 7,513,919. A total of 72 PLO players remain, with regular-prize payouts beginning at 61 places.
Both tournaments resume for Day 2 today at 1:05 p.m. ET. The NLH event has 319 players returning and pays 266 places. Its top three stacks belong to owens9397 with 7,413,966, Infliponcio with 6,174,844 and c4trups!! with 6,066,954.
Each prize pool is divided evenly between regular prizes and bounties. NLH has $2,678,750 allocated to each portion, with a listed first-place regular payout of $332,932. PLO has $752,500 in each portion and a listed first-place regular payout of $128,622. Both first-place figures exclude bounty winnings.
NLH play continues Tuesday, Oct. 20, with Day 3 starting at 1:05 p.m. ET. The PLO tournament has no Day 3. Final tables for both events are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 4:05 p.m. ET.
